Technology FAQ

Q: There is something I would like to see on the website, how do I contact you?
A: Our goal for the website is to get as much good information as possible included.  Suggestions are always welcome.  You can e-mail suggestions to webmaster@bhmsd.k12.in.us

Q: What do you do with your old computers when you replace them, and may I have them?
A: Typically, when a computer is replaced, we try to put them into classrooms for use.  They might not be powerful enough for current software but might be able to access the Internet or be used for word processing.  When a computer becomes either more expensive to repair than to replace or is too old for anything constructive, we recycle them.  Unfortunately, we are unable to give these computers away to the public.

Q: We are buying a new computer.  What software should we get so our children can either start/finish their assignment at home.
A: We use Microsoft Office Professional 2003, but some older computers have Office 2000.  There are a number of different versions of Microsoft Office.  We suggest the student and teacher version or the standard version, as most students do not need Access or Publisher at home.
