Health Screenings

Periodic vision, hearing, and postural (scoliosis) screenings are conducted throughout each student's school career. As mandated by Indiana Code, screenings are conducted as follows

Vision: Grades K or 1, 3, 5, and 8
Hearing: Grades 1, 4, 7, and 10

New Kindergarten and 1st grade students new to the school system are required by State law to have a minimum of an MCT vision exam by an optometrist before entering school.
